(I'd like to think that this is one of my students working on homework!) Grade Level/Discipline: I teach algebra I and II on the various levels. That means that I have a mixture of grades 9 through 12.
Few Facts about myself:
Fact 1: I bought my first home 2 years ago. I currently live by myself, although I have been thinking about adopting a shelter dog.
Fact 2: I started taking piano lessons before I could read!
Fact 3: I teach at my alma mater. My classroom is the same room where I had algebra, pre-calculus and calculus as a student.
What I'd like to learn or get out of this course: I would like to be more comfortable with the technology that comes so easily to my students. I would also like to incorporate more (read any) technology into my classroom.
My favorite game(s): I'm probably more traditional than most in my favorite games. I enjoy playing card games or games where I can use a strategy. I do play some games on-line, but usually stick to ones where I am alone.
